Is it normal that I never think about my battery anymore? That's kind of the point I guess

Weird thing to post about maybe, but I realized today that it's been over a year since I swapped to an Amaron Car Battery and I honestly haven't thought about it once since the day it went in, which feels like the highest compliment you can give something that sits in your engine bay. My previous battery gave me little anxiety episodes every few months where the crank sounded a tiny bit slower and I'd start mentally budgeting for a replacement, but this one just does its job and I've completely forgotten it exists until someone in my building mentioned their battery died. Summer came and went, did a couple of long road trips, left the car at the airport for a week, and not a single hiccup. I'm almost suspicious of how uneventful it's been, like I should knock on wood or something, but I think this is just what a properly spec'd battery that isn't half dead from the shop shelf actually feels like, and we've all just accepted mediocrity for so long that reliability feels abnormal now.
