My Lexus headliner started sagging – finally found someone who fixed it properly
I've got a 2012 LS460 that I absolutely love, but last summer the roof lining started drooping in the back, and by winter it was basically touching the rear passengers' heads. I tried those twist pins from Amazon as a temporary fix, but it looked awful. Called around a few upholstery shops in Abu Dhabi and most said they don't work on luxury cars because the fabric and foam backing are different. Then I found a place that specializes in luxury car interior roof fabric replacement after seeing Exotic Car Care's page for roof lining repair. Dropped the car off on a Monday and got it back Thursday – they matched the beige fabric perfectly and even fixed a small sunroof rattle I hadn't mentioned. The car feels brand new inside now. Total cost was around 1200 which I thought was reasonable given how much work it is to remove the headliner without breaking anything. Has anyone else had this issue with older Lexus or German cars? I'm just relieved I didn't have to sell the car over something so annoying.
